Chandigarh Wholesale Car Parts Association raised the issue that As per Chandigarh Administration, the shops in Green Areas opened from 4th May. Currently, the maximum shops in Chandigarh including Wine shops and Industries are also allowed to work without any conditions, but the Motor Mechanic and Motor part shops are still closed by the Administration.
President asked Without work, we are in trouble due to the obligation to pay Bank loan installments, Telephone bill, Employees' salary and thus, facing a difficulty to manage our business.The Banks are not waving off the bank loan monthly interest or reducing the rate of interest , even after receiving the RBI instructions to do the same. Some of the Chandigarh Motor Market shopkeepers, carry out business on a very small-scale and also have the need to maintain regular cash flow in business. Due to the closure of one and half months, the shopkeepers are facing lot of financial difficulties. As a kind request, it is suggested that instead of closing all the Chandigarh Motor market, an odd-even shop number opening policy should be implemented so that odd or even shops can be opened on the respective days.
He raised that Chandigarh Administration will consider our suggestions and do the needful to take the remedial measures and necessary action for the protection of our interests.
