Shemrock School concluded two day Athletic Meet at Sports Complex Sector -46 .Sukhvir Singh Grewal Dir. Training and Curriculum, Punjab Institute of Sports was the chief guest at the moment .Various events like Parent's Race, Teacher's Race, 4×100m relay, Long Jump, Shot Put, 800m were the highlights of the day. The day also included various fun filled dances to cheer up and entertain the parents. Constructive thinking is the need of the hour was depicted beautifully by students.
Best Athlete in under 14 were Agamjot in Boys and Nehal In Girlswhere as Gurpreet Singh was declared Best Athlete under 17 in boys & Kirti in Girls .Under 19 from boys Jaspreet Singh was best Athlethe and Sahaj from girls .Ms Reena & Ms Pooja Participating Mothers of students were winners of the Balancing Race & from Participating fathers in Hoopla Race Raj Kumar was declared as winner .Teachers who excelled in the race were Ms Amrit & Ms Pooja .
A.S.Bajwa, Chairman, Shemrock School appealed the parents to let the children grow through participating in extracurricular activities as it provides a platform for students to exhibit their unparalleled sporting talents. According to him Spirited, energetic and vibrant students can make a difference in every field and competition.
The winners were honoured by the Chief Guest Sukhvir Singh Grewal .According to him sports is one such domain where if given proper boost children showcase immense talent and potential and is of paramount importance for holistic development of the children.
