Oakridge International School organised Fun Filled activities at its campus on the first day of the session. It was a perfect blend of culture and sports. It was an amalgamation of performing arts and games. An obstacle course was created at the entrance for the children to hop and jump on. The first obstacle started with a hop scotch that led to pebble jump, jump between the sticks, balance on the room and cross the ants. The students entered the school laughing and having fun and that is how the entire day went by. The students also later, performed the Country line dance and Hip hop of America, Aerobics, bamboo dance, zorba, PT drill, dumbbell presentation and yoga. The event then moved towards the track events. Students also participated in fun races like balloon race, zig zag race, bag packing race and many other races.
The principal of the school Ramanjit Ghuman while encouraging the students said that a school is alive only when it is filled with the voices of the children. The presence of students is what makes a simple building into a place of learning. The students left the school with a sense of jubilation and awaiting what is in store for them in the coming days.
