Aryans team to participate in 3 days Young India Adventure Racing Championship

A team of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh is going to participate in the ‘Young India Adventure Racing Championship’.Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving this information said that the race is being organized by The Adventure Racing Federation of India (ARFI) from 9-11 December 2016 in the coastal region of Maharashtra and Goa.

General JJ Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd) (Ex Army Chief), Former Governor, Arunachal Pradesh & Founder President of Adventure Racing Federation of India while giving more information said that the racing will be a  test of human endurance comprising three or more continuous activities such as trekking & trailing, mountain biking, river rafting etc.

 JJ Singh further added that these races will motivate the youth of India and inculcate in them the spirit of adventure and other sporting activities. Such events will give a boost to tourism in these remote parts of India & create jobs for the youth as well.It is to be mentioned that the race shall be conducted day and night virtually non-stop over a distance of about 100 Kms with one mandatory halt of around 3 hours at the mid-way point.
