Chandigarh: A delegation of the Chandigarh Housing Board Federation Committee met with Sanjay Tandon, National Executive Member of BJP and in-charge of Himachal Pradesh, at his residence.
During the meeting the delegation briefed Sanjay Tandon about the upcoming issues related to CHB allottees. They demanded a resolution based on the pattern adopted by the government of former Chief Minister V.K. Malhotra during the BJP’s regime in Delhi, addressing issues such as Need-Based Changes for CHB allottees, conversion from Leasehold to Freehold, and transfer of housing units based on GPA/SPA.
During extensive discussions with the visiting delegation members, Tandon assured that he would keep the Chandigarh administration informed about the CHB issues and requested for a meeting with their delegation.
Present at the occasion were VK Nirmal Singh, AC Dhawan, Sanjiv Grover, Tarsem Sharma, ML Kalra, and AS Walia, among other committee members.
