Over 300 people from Sikh Community join BJP in presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh – As the assembly elections in Haryana approach, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues to attract leaders and workers from other parties. Today, over 300 people from the Sikh community, including former spokesperson of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Kanwaljit Ajarana from Kurukshetra, joined the BJP.     

In the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, Kanwaljit Ajarana, along with Bhupender Singh Assandh, Dilbag Singh Virk, and Vivek Bahl joined the BJP.

After joining the party, Kanwaljit Ajarana expressed his support for Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, highlighting the Prime Minister's numerous initiatives for the Sikh community, such as opening the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor and declaring the martyrdom day of Sahibzadas as Veer Bal Diwas. He affirmed that the Sikh community stands with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Also present at the occasion were Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies Sh Subhash Sudha, Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Sh Bharat Bhushan Batra, Sh Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Publicity Advisor Sh Tarun Bhandari, Media Secretary Sh Praveen Atrey, and other dignitaries.
