Chandigarh - Haryana's Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, has announced that for the Haryana Assembly elections scheduled to be held on October 5, there are a total of 1031 candidates. Among them, 930 are men and 101 are women.
He further informed that out of these candidates, 462 are independent. This includes 421 men and 41 women.
