Amritsar-The Rotary Club of Khalsa College For Women, (KCW) Amritsar under the patronage of Rotary Club Amritsar North organised their ‘Installation Ceremony’. The principal of college, Dr. Surinder Kaur presented the planter to the guests and the Program Coordinator and College Vice Principal, Ravinder Kaur inaugurated the event by formally welcoming the guests. The event marked the beginning of a new chapter under the leadership of Divya Kumari as the president and Davinder Kaur as the secretary of the Rotaract club.
The formality of collaring the new President was done by the Installing Officer–Anil Singhal, Distt Governor 2026-27. In the presence of all the members of Rotaract Club and Rotary Club Amritsar North, the event commenced with the plantation of saplings. On this occasion, the former secretary of Rotaract Club, Navdeep Kaur, administered the oath taking ceremony.
The former president, Navya bhandari welcomed all the dignitaries and rotrarians. Navdeep Kaur, the former secretary reflecting on the accomplishments of the past year, encouraged the upcoming team to continue their noble work. Manjeet Pal, Ex- president and Rotarian addressed the gathering and spoke about the core values of Rotary and it’s humanitarian services. Rajinder Pal Singh, president Rotaract Club Amritsar North delivered an inspiring speech, commending the Rotary Club’s efforts in promoting community development and global goodwill.The Chief guest of the event and the principal of the college, Dr. Surinder Kaur affirmed that with the new leadership, the Rotary Club of KCW will adhere to the motto of Rotary-“Service Above Self” through meaningful projects. She also emphasized that members of the club will continue their humanitarian efforts and adapt to the changing needs of society. At the end of the programme, Navya Bhandari, former President of Rotaract Club thanked all the dignitaries and the audience.
