Election Observer Reviews Arrangements for Gram Panchayat Elections in Malerkotla District

Malerkotla-Mr. Bhupinder Singh, IAS, Election Observer for Malerkotla District and Director of Information and Public Relations, today held a meeting with Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) cum Additional District Election Officer, Ms. Navdeep Kaur, and other election officials to review the arrangements for the upcoming Gram Panchayat Elections.
 
Mr. Bhupinder Singh emphasized that any complaints received should be acted upon immediately and reported, ensuring no negligence in the election process. He shared instructions from the State Election Commission to conduct the entire election process in a fair, transparent, and smooth manner, considering the general elections of Gram Panchayats scheduled for October 15.
 
The Election Observer stressed that all officials should conduct these elections freely and fairly to restore public trust in the electoral process and democracy.
 
The Additional Deputy Commissioner confirmed that election preparations are complete, including rehearsals for election staff to ensure a smooth process.
 
During the meeting, Mr. Bhupinder Singh visited various polling stations, related areas, and strong rooms in Malerkotla and Amargarh.
