Quito, Nov 12 – Ecuador international Marco Angulo, 22, passed away after succumbing to injuries from a severe car accident on October 7. The midfielder, on loan to LDU Quito from MLS club FC Cincinnati, sustained critical head and lung injuries when the car he was in struck a metal structure early in the morning. Teammates Roberto Cabezas Simisterra and Victor Charcopa Nazareno, also in the vehicle, passed away shortly after the incident.
