Tokyo, Nov 23 (IANS) — Six people, including an eight-year-old girl, were injured in a five-vehicle collision on the Isewangan Expressway in Yatomi City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on Saturday morning, local officials reported.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. local time, involving five passenger cars. One of the injured, a man, sustained serious injuries, and all six were taken to the hospital. The police are conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
This incident follows a previous multi-vehicle collision on August 12, 2024, in Tottori City, which resulted in five injuries, three of them critical. That crash involved a car and a truck colliding head-on within the Yose Daiichi Tunnel on the Tottori Expressway.
