Sydney-Two men were seriously injured in a stabbing spree in Melbourne's northwest, prompting police to launch an investigation into the violent incidents, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
The attacks occurred late Saturday night near a shopping centre on Lake Street in Caroline Springs, approximately 20 kilometres northwest of central Melbourne.
Incident Details:
First Victim: An 18-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed by a group of men. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Second Victim: Shortly after, the same group allegedly attacked a 22-year-old man further along the street, stealing his phone. He also sustained serious stab wounds and was hospitalised.
The group of assailants fled the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle following the attacks.
