Chandigarh- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini while addressing a one-day conference on ‘Good Governance through Effective Implementation’, held at SGT University in Gurugram on Tuesday said that just as former Prime Minister Late, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee introduced the concept of good governance in 1998, the tradition has been successfully carried forward over the past decade through mission-driven efforts under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. He further highlighted the Haryana Government's commendable efforts in simplifying and improving the lives of the people during this period.
Notably, the conference was organized by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini and SGT University. Tripura Chief Minister, Prof. Manik Saha, Industries, Forests, and Environment Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, former MP and ๐๐ข๐๐-๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ก๐๐ฎ ๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ข ๐๐ซ๐๐๐จ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ข, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ซ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ก๐ and Chhattisgarh Finance Minister, Sh. O.P. Choudhary, former MP Sunita Duggal also attended the conference and shared their views. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also digitally unveiled the cover of the book The Art of Implementation.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has started the tradition of observing December 25 as Good Governance Day, celebrating the birth anniversaries of former Prime Minister Late, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya across the country. He extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of' birth anniversaries of these great personalities and Christmas.The Chief Minister said that just as Late, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee developed rural infrastructure through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has similarly advanced good governance by implementing numerous schemes that have simplified and improved the lives of the people.He said that over the past ten years, Haryana has worked toward creating a transparent and corruption-free system, focusing on merit-based recruitment, an online transfer policy, and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach eligible individuals. As a result, today, the son of a poor family is becoming an HCS officer.
The Chief Minister said in the last ten years, the present state government has provided over 1.71 lakh jobs without Parchi Kharchi. Similarly, employees have been given postings to their preferred stations through the online policy. He said that Atal Service Centers are now providing citizens with access to government schemes near their homes.Citing the example of the newly opened HEPC office in Panchkula, the Chief Minister said that now, NOCs related to industries are being provided at a single location. Similarly, the elderly are receiving pension scheme benefits automatically, all from the comfort of their homes. He expressed his happiness that the present government has abolished the colonial-era black laws and implemented the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The laws that were previously exploited have been repealed. The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita is being implemented rapidly in Haryana.
Speaking at the conference, Tripura Chief Minister, Prof. Manik Saha said that inspired by former Prime Minister Late, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the central government is working seriously for the development of northeastern states. As a result, migration from these states has decreased, and people are now finding employment within their own homes. He said that good governance is essential for gaining the trust of the public and working towards the development of the country and states.
Chhattisgarh Finance Minister, Sh. O.P. Choudhary shared how good governance policies are being implemented in his state. Former MP and ๐๐ข๐๐-๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ก๐๐ฎ ๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ข ๐๐ซ๐๐๐จ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ข, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ซ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ก๐, in his address, said that the world is looking towards India with great hope today. He praised Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi for setting an example of good governance that is being globally recognized.
