AAP Strengthens Its Position in Amritsar Municipal Corporation as 4 Independent Councillors Join Party

Amritsar-The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained significant strength in the Amritsar Municipal Corporation. On Sunday, four independent councillors from Amritsar joined the party. These councillors formally joined AAP in the presence of senior party leaders.

Independent Councillor Jagmeet Singh Ghulli from Ward No. 32, Councillor Natasha Gill from Ward No. 85, Councillor Vijay Kumar Bhagat (son of the late Shri Kashmiri Lal Bhagat) from Ward No. 70, and Councillor Mandeep Singh Aujla from Ward No. 4 joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

The party's Punjab President Aman Arora and Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal, along with Party's Working President Amansher Singh Sharry Kalsi, MLA Inderbir Singh Nijjar, and senior leaders Deepak Bali and Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia, formally inducted the councillors into the party and extended a warm welcome to them into the AAP family.

All the councillors said they were influenced by AAP's pro-people policies and the Punjab government's work under AAP's leadership, prompting them to decide to join the party. The party leadership assured them of due respect and recognition within the party.

AAP Amritsar Rural District President Baljinder Singh Dhillon, Urban President Munish Aggarwal, Councillors Jatinder Singh Moti Bhatia, Ajit Singh Bittu, and Ameer Singh Ghulli were also present on the occasion.
