New Delhi/Chandigarh-Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann campaigned for the Delhi Assembly elections for the third consecutive day on Wednesday. Mann conducted roadshows in three assembly constituencies – Narela, Timarpur, and Burari – and appealed to people to elect AAP candidates.
All the roadshows witnessed massive public turnouts. Thousands of people and party workers participated in the roadshows. People welcomed Chief Minister Mann with chants of “Inquilab Zindabad” and by showering flowers. Mann also expressed his gratitude to the people and appealed to them to ensure a massive majority for the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi.
Addressing the people in Narela, Mann said that the people of Delhi have already decided to form the Aam Aadmi Party government. Only a formal announcement remains on February 8. He added that the people of Delhi love Arvind Kejriwal, who resides in their hearts.
He further stated that opposition parties have no agenda for Delhi's development, which is why they only talk about conflicts and fights. In contrast, the Aam Aadmi Party discusses government schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads, and basic infrastructure.
Mann said, “We want to empower women, which is why the Aam Aadmi Party government made travel free for women in DTC buses. Now, upon forming the government, we will provide women with ₹2, 100 every month so that they become less dependent and our mothers and sisters can achieve self-reliance.”
In Timarpur, Mann said, “During campaigning, I don’t need to tell people much. Arvind Kejriwal’s work speaks for itself across Delhi. Opposition parties only indulge in rhetoric. They know they don’t stand a chance in Delhi, which is why they are in despair.”
Addressing the people of Burari, Mann said, “Only the Aam Aadmi Party can secure the future of you and your children. So, on February 5, press the broom button and elect AAP candidate Sanjeev Jha with a massive majority.” He added, “Sanjeev Jha is a highly popular leader. He always stays among the people and stands with them in their joys and sorrows. He will continue to serve you in the same manner in the future.”
Mann said, “It is your responsibility to vote for the broom on February 5; after that, all your responsibilities will be ours. Arvind Kejriwal fulfills every promise he makes. In Delhi and Punjab, we have fulfilled all our promises. So, on election day, do not even think about other parties. Just vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.”
