PATIALA: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday felicitated prominent officers/officials, participants and persons from various walks of life during the Republic Day Celebrations for their remarkable contribution towards society and the state.
Bhagwant Singh Mann bestowed Chief Minister Rakshak Padak to Assistant Sub Inspectors Manna Singh and Rajinder Singh, Lady Senior Constable Kulwinder Kaur, Punjab Home Guard Gurdeep Singh and Senior Constable Gurpreet Singh. The Chief Minister also felicitated family members of Shaheed Sipahi Bhupinder Singh, Shaheed Gunner Amrik Singh, Shaheed Nayak Rajwinder Singh, Shaheed Hawaldar Mukhtiar Singh and Shaheed Nayak Harjinder Singh who had attained martyrdom during operation Rakshak of Indian Army. He also awarded certificates to Mangal Singh, Virjesh Kumar and Amandeep Singh under the FARISHTEY Scheme.
