Chandigarh- Punjab Police is now preparing to take swift action in the Ajnala Police Station attack case. The police are planning to take action against the associates of Amritpal Singh, the head of the Waaris Punjab organization. These are the same people who were sent to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam under the National Security Act last year.
The police are now planning to take action against Amritpal Singh's jailed associates. These prisoners will now be brought to Punjab after the NSA is lifted. From Monday, all the prisoners of Dibrugarh Jail in Assam will be brought to Punjab and after that, legal action will be taken against them here in Punjab.
A mob of about 200-250 people led by Amritpal Singh attacked the Ajnala Police Station. The aim of this attack was to free one of their associates from police custody. After this incident, Punjab Police had registered a case under serious sections against Amritpal Singh and some of his associates.
According to the police, Amritpal and his associates had seriously challenged the law and order during this attack. Now the police are once again in the mood to take action in this case. The police have intensified preparations for action against Amritpal.
During this attack, Amritpal and his supporters broke the police barricade, entered the police station and rescued their associate from police custody. Six policemen were injured in this attack. After this incident, Amritpal Singh came on the police radar and the police had intensified their action to arrest him.
Amritpal Singh is currently in jail and the police is keeping a close eye on his activities after this attack. Now the police is taking rapid steps towards further legal action in this case.
