Chandigarh- Reacting to the protest by Mahila Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that Congress has developed a habit of creating drama. Congress leaders have no other work apart from theatrics. They mislead the people of Punjab through false propaganda.
AAP leader and spokesperson Neel Garg said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal have delivered more than the guarantees they gave to the people of Punjab. "We never promised to buy a thermal plant, but under our government, the private thermal plant of Goindwal Sahib was purchased and made a government entity. Similarly, the government formed a road safety force and shut down dozens of toll plazas."
"The promise of giving ₹1000 to women will also definitely be fulfilled. The women of Punjab have full faith in Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party."
Attacking Congress, Neel Garg said, "Their government had promised to provide jobs to every household, but they never delivered. They had claimed to eradicate drugs within four weeks, but what happened to that promise? In fact, drugs increased under their rule. Congress should be ashamed of such theatrics and should introspect."
He said that Congress is doing all this merely to gain media attention. Questioning the party, he said, "Wherever Congress is in power, why have they not fulfilled the promises they made there? In Himachal, Congress promised free electricity, but they ended it within two months."
He further added that the AAP government in Punjab has launched a massive war against drugs, and the women of Punjab are blessing Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for saving their children.
He said that today, free treatment is being provided in government hospitals in Punjab. "We have provided 50, 000 government jobs in three years." He added that whether it is the youth or the women of Punjab, everyone is happy with the Aam Aadmi Party. Congress is merely trying to trap people in a web of deceit.
