The Rotaract Club of KCA organized an Installation Ceremony

Amritsar-The Rotaract Club of Khalsa College, Amritsar (KCA) today organized an Installation Ceremony of its Office Bearers for the session 2024-25. Distt. Governor Rtn. Dr. P.S. Grover was the Chief Guest as the student President of the Club, Japneet Kaur warmly welcomed the guests. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh extended the floral welcome to the guests and honored the guests with college coffee table books.

In his address, Dr Mehal Singh appealed the students to enthusiastically participate in philanthropic and co-curricular activities that in turn help to excel in all walks of life. Mere holding degrees are not enough in this competitive world where the qualities of leadership, self-confidence and social networking equally matter earnestly. The Rotaract Club thus is the right platform for cherishing these high ideals, he said. Dr. Grover along with luminaries of Rotary Club of Amritsar Civil Lines installed the new team of Rotaract Club of Khalsa College.

In his address, Dr. Grover stressed the involvement of youth in developing innovative solutions to world’s most pressing challenges. Guest of Honor, Past Distt. Governor S. Gurjeet Singh Sekhon at this occasion delivered a meaningful talk focusing on the objectives and working of Rotaract club along with the relevance of community services. Rtn Sukhpinder Kaur congratulated Japneet Kaur, the new President of the club on the one hand and gave a technical detail of Club’s working during her interaction with the audience. Past President, Kirpan Kaur read previous year’s report of club’s activities Dr. Gurvel Singh Malhi, summarized the forthcoming programme of the club.

Dr. Taminder Singh Bhatia, Dean Academic Affairs of the college extended the vote of thanks at the end of the installation ceremony. Past President Rotary Kamal Uppal, Rtn Amandeep Sekhon, Rtn Gundeep Sekhon, Rtn Gurpreet Bal, Prof. Jaspreet Kaur, Dean Arts and Social Sciences, Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Co-faculty Advisor of the college club, Dr. Baljit Singh. Prof. Jyoti Thuakur and large number of students were present at this occasion.
