Chandigarh, Nov 4 (IANS) – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has been appointed as the Chairman of the Gurugram District Public Relations and Grievances Committee, as per an official notification from the Chief Secretary's Office.
The notification also announced various district appointments, including Energy Minister Anil Vij as the Chairman for the District Public Relations and Grievances Committees of Kaithal and Sirsa. Additionally, Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar will oversee the committees in Hisar and Rohtak, while Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Singh will manage Nuh and Faridabad, and Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda will handle Bhiwani and Jind.
The responsibilities for other districts have been similarly allocated. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Vipul Goel will supervise Rewari and Panchkula; Cooperation Minister Arvind Sharma has been assigned Mahendragarh; and Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana will handle Charkhi Dadri and Jhajjar. Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa will manage the Ambala and Karnal districts.
Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Caste and Backward Class Welfare Minister Krishan Kumar will oversee Panipat and Yamunanagar, while Women and Child Development Minister Shruti Choudhry has been given Fatehabad district. Health Minister Arti Singh Rao will be responsible for the Palwal district.
Additionally, the Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Rajesh Nagar, will chair the Kurukshetra committee, and Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, Gaurav Gautam, will head the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee of Sonipat.
Chief Minister Saini emphasized the significance of collective efforts in transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a “Viksit Bharat.” Speaking at the 'Run for Unity' event in Kurukshetra to honor the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Saini highlighted the importance of national unity and pledged Haryana’s active role in achieving this goal.
