Chandigarh- Shiromani Akali Dal today asked Centre and Punjab Government whether Punjabis require a visa to visit their own National Capital Delhi ?
Addressing a press conference here today, SAD Chief Spokesman Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler said that it was shocking to note that since almost one year Punjabis were being denied permission to visit Delhi through Shambhu border. He said that farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal is observing hunger strike since last 22 days but despite intervention of Supreme Court, Centre and AAP led State government have failed to convince the leader to abort his hunger strike keeping in view his precarious condition. He said that if anything happens with life of Dallewal then Centre and AAP led State government both will be responsible.
He also said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has miserably failed to take up the issue to hunger strike of Dallewal and issues of farmer with the Centre government. He said that it was Constitutional duty of the Chief Minister take up issues of farmer with Centre but Bhagwant Mann has failed as Chief Minister.EOM
