Mumbai, Nov 12 – With Maharashtra Assembly elections approaching, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address three major rallies today to bolster support for MahaYuti allies in critical regions across the state.
PM Modi will begin his public address at 1 p.m. in Chimur, eastern Vidarbha, followed by rallies at 4:15 p.m. in Solapur and 6:30 p.m. in Pune, strategically targeting areas where Congress and NCP traditionally hold influence. His speeches highlight the need for BJP-led MahaYuti governance to advance development, empower farmers, and support women through initiatives like the "Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, " designed to strengthen women’s rights.
In recent addresses, PM Modi criticized Congress, emphasizing that Maharashtra's farmers, particularly in Marathwada, have suffered due to past mismanagement. He also discussed the BJP’s commitment to the upliftment of soybean farmers, addressing crises in agriculture and promoting rural welfare.
Today’s rallies come as MahaYuti aims to reclaim support in Vidarbha, where the BJP and Congress are locked in numerous direct contests. PM Modi reiterated his call for unity against "divisive tactics" and highlighted BJP’s commitment to national unity, recalling Congress’s handling of Article 370 in Kashmir, which he claims fostered separatism.
Modi's campaign reinforces his vision for a prosperous Maharashtra as central to India’s progress, saying, "If there is MahaYuti, there is progress in Maharashtra." His closing message encourages voters to elect MahaYuti candidates, secure Maharashtra’s future, and support the continuity of strong leadership aligned with the vision for a developed India.
