New York, Dec 17 (IANS): A tragic shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, has left three people dead, including the shooter, and injured four others, police reported. The shooter, a 15-year-old female student, fatally shot a teacher and another student before taking her own life.
Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes confirmed the incident occurred in a study hall and was reported by a second-grader. Police arrived at the scene within four minutes, finding the shooter deceased from an apparent suicide. The motive remains unknown, and authorities are working to notify the families of the victims before releasing their identities.
Among the injured, two students remain in critical condition, and all are receiving treatment at local hospitals. The tragic event has prompted calls for action to ensure school safety.
Jill Underly, Wisconsin's Superintendent of Public Instruction, expressed deep sorrow and urgency:

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers also issued a statement, saying:
