Samrat Singh, BBA Final Year student of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology is selected for summer internship in Dunkin Donuts, Wildwood, USA under GJ Elite program 2017. He will be working in USA for next 3 months.

J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group while giving the information said that SWT is summer, work & travel in the United States. A unique program started by Gian Jyoti under Elite program.Elite program will make students, corporate ready by enhancing their practical skills which eventually would help them to fetch a decent job. SWT is a part of the Elite program where students do their summer Internship in the United States on a work Visa & learn the corporate culture of Companies in USA.

Oakridge International School organised Fun Filled activities at its campus on the first day of the session. It was a perfect blend of culture and sports. It was an amalgamation of performing arts and games. An obstacle course was created at the entrance for the children to hop and jump on. The first obstacle started with a hop scotch that led to pebble jump, jump between the sticks, balance on the room and cross the ants. The students entered the school laughing and having fun and that is how the entire day went by. The students also later, performed the Country line dance

The students of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Phase 2 organized farewell party for outgoing students. Various Cultural items were staged on this occasion. The cultural program comprising skits, mono-acting and songs was interspersed with delightful modern and traditional dances. Cat walk stole the show.
The function began with lighting of the lamp .While encouraging the students Chairman J.S. Bedi said that such competitions unlock the talents of every individual student and help them on their way to a lifetime of self-discovery and fulfillment.

The month of Baisakh was welcomed with usual fervour in The Holy Wonders School Mohali. Tiny tots dressed in colourful traditional Punjabi attires and celebrated Baisakhi. Wearing Punjabi dresses, students represent the culture of the state. Students created scenes like harvesting, incident of Jallianwala Bagh and establishment of Khalsa on the occasion. The celebrations started with the recitation of a shabad .They enacted a drama on Jallianwala Bagh massacre

Two day Creya Professional Development Program organised at Shemrock School Sector -69 .The key note speaker at the moment were Janhavi Melinkeri and Dorothy Saikiafrom . While speaking at the moment they informed that Creya is creativity in action it is a STEM programme which involves Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and digital media. Upgrading it now Arts has been introduced and the new version STEAM is in process. The three pedagogies were experiential learning, inquiry based circle, the design circle. These fields are deeply intertwined in the real world.

Universal Group of Institutions organised seminar on Renewable Energy Studies and Concrete Technology .The event was focussed on importance of renewable energy thereby highlighting Green energy. In addition to this, the discussion engulfed the various technologies based on Concrete Technology. Dr. Poonam Syal, Associate Professor, Electrical Engineering Department, NITTTR Sec26, Chandigarh & Sanjeev Kaul, HOD Civil Engineering Department, CCET Sec 26 Chandigarh were key note speaker at the moment. Dr. Poonam Syal touched the various renewable energy sources such as sunlight, geothermal heat, wind, tides, water and various forms of biomass. She further also discussed various Government schemes and their usage pattern. Sanjeev Kaul mainly focused on various areas of Concrete Technology. He discussed the optimum water ratio .Later, he touched the design criteria. He also discussed the various projects and its benefits.

Over 13 Lakh JEE candidates would appear in Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) exam against 2.20 lakh seats in IITs all over the Country on 2nd April. The 1st exam for B. Tech/B.E would start at 9:30am to 12:30pm while 2nd test for B.Arch/B.Planning would start at 2pm to 5pm. Pen and paper would be provided to the students in the centres and they wouldn't be allowed to carry any gadgets in the centre as directed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

Apart from winning a number of medals & prizes during Annual Training Camp , some of the cadets of CGC Jhanjeri were shortlisted for Republic Day parade to be held on 26.01.2017 in New Delhi. Riya Sharma is finally selected for this prestigious parade. In all 2070 NCC cadets from all over India participated in this camp.
