Eminent Photo-Artists of the country conferred TPAS Fellowship

CHANDIGARH, Tricity Photo Art Society (TPAS) today conferred TPAS Fellowship (Hon.TPAS) upon three eminent Photo-Artists of the country of international repute and honourable jury members of 2nd TPAS International Salon of Photography-2017 in a function held at Punjab Kala Bhawan. These renowned Photo-Artists are Dr. Barun Sinha from Patna, Mr. Adit Agarwala from Noida and Dr. Bhupesh Little from Lukhnow.
On the occasion eminent photo-artists also shared their experiences with tricity based Photo- Enthusiasts and slide show of their work also presented. While Dr. Barun Sinha shared his experience of nature photography with slide lecture. Sh. Adit Agarwala gave tips from his expertisation of creative photography. Dr. Bhupesh Little who is first Doctorate degree holder in photography field in the country shared his practical experience of landscape photography.
While addressing the audience, President of the Society and Salon Chairman Shri Vinod Chauhan said that about 405 Photo- artists from 28 countries have submitted 5000(five thousand) digital images for 2nd TPAS International Salon which is a record itself. It is worth to mention here that Society is promoting the art of photography in the region. Moreover, the Federation of Indian Photography has ranked the TPAS as India’s No. 1 Photographic Club on the basis of art works of its members for the year 2015-16.
General Secretary of TPAS, Deep Bhatia and a member of Salon jury said that an exhibition and digital display of award winning and selected images shall be held at Govt. Art Museum, Sector 10 from 15th May. A workshop on photography will also be organised on the same day.
