Another Aadhar Updation Centre was inaugurated at Sector-55 Post Office, Mohali by Ms. Manisha Bansal Badal, Director Postal Services, Punjab Postal Circle, Chandigarh. For doorstep services and greater convenience to customers, India Post has been assigned the task of providing Aadhar Updation facility in all post offices. Ms. Manisha Bansal Badal, DPS (HQ) intimated that all kinds of Aadhar updation like Change in name, photograph, mobile number, e-mail, address, etc. can be got done at this centre. She handed over the receipt of Aadhar Updation to the first customer after inauguration. Customers present at the post office expressed great satisfaction and delight at the availability of the facility in post offices. Ms. Radhika Dhir, Sr. Supdt. of Post Offices, Chandigarh was also present during this auspicious occasion.
On this occassion, Ms. Manisha Bansal Badal, DPS (HQ) said that Postal Departmental is committed to provide all kinds of services to the customers through its wide network of more than 1.5 lakh post offices. She said that the post office is reinventing itself to make itself more useful, relevant and friendly to the common people.
The first AADHAAR updation Centre under Punjab Postal Circle was inaugurated by Chief Postmaster General, Punjab Circle, Shri P.K Swain at GPO Chandigarh yesterday.
