Amritsar-Two students Harish Tiwari, a student of 8th semester and Jagunurpreet Kaur, a student of 4th at Khalsa College of Physical Education (KCPE) won Bronze Medal each in the 'Inter-University Kickboxing Competition' organized at Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut (UP). Director-cum-Principal Dr. Kanwaljit Singh said that both had been selected selected in the kick boxing team by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Sports University, Patiala.
They competed in the event in which 92 teams from across the country participated in the inter-university competitions. He said that Harish participated in 69 kg and Jagunurpreet in 60 kg category and they had earlier won gold medals in the national Championship held in 2022 and 2023. He congratulated and encouraged them to achieve high level positions in future.
