The fifteen Member Youth delegation from Maldives today visited Punjab Engineering College, Sector-12, Chandigarh. Professor Loveleen Kaur Taneja, NSS Programme Coordinator and NSS Volunteers of Punjab Engineering College welcomed Maldivian Youth Delegation.
A spell bound cultural performance was given by NSS volunteers of Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh and delegates of Maldives . In the cultural programme students gave various kinds of performances in instrumental and vocal music. They also performed Indian and western dance, bhangra and giddha . The students of Punjab Engg College also gave a presentation on the visit of Maldive students in Chandigarh.
The NSS Volunteers interacted with the delegation and Maldivian Youth Delegation was mesmerized with the cultural performance of the PEC students. They got excited and participated actively in the dance with the students, . of PEC .Maldivian delegates also gave performance in instrumental music and also presented some songs including Bollywood songs
Maldivan Youth Delegation also visited the library, reading hall and workshop of the Punjab Engineering College. They also thanked the NSS team of Punjab Engg College Chandigarh for giving them such a fascinating captivating and wonderful opportunity.

After the programme Maldivian Youth Delegation departed for New Delhi.The Maldivian Delegation was seen off by Sh. Karnail Singh, Director, Sports, UT Chandigarh and Ms. Madhu Bala, Asstt. Programme Adviser, NSS , Ministry of Youth Affairs, NSS Regional Directorate, Chandigarh.
