London, Nov 24 (IANS) — A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a deadly shooting in Birmingham, UK, that left one man dead and another critically injured.
West Midlands Police reported that the incident occurred on Friday evening, when officers found a man in his 20s dead inside a car. Another man, in his 30s, was discovered injured at a nearby bus stop, where he is believed to have been attempting to flee from the gunman. He was rushed to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police were alerted to the scene just before 2300 GMT. A suspect, also in his 30s, is currently in custody as investigations proceed, according to a report by the BBC and Xinhua news agency.
